This uncirculated 5 Iraqi dinar banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Iraq in 1992 (AH 1412). It is a brownish purple and pink banknote that bears the signature of Bank Governor Tariq al-Tukmachi, and measures 160 mm x 75 mm. Its obverse side features temple buildings and Saddam Hussein. Its reverse side shows the depiction of Hammurabi accepting the Law from the stele of the Code of Hammurabi and the Monument to the Unknown Soldier in Baghdad. The note does not have a security thread or a watermark. It was demonetized in 2004. The details of this note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
