This uncirculated 50,000 Paraguayan guarani note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Paraguay. It is a blue, green, and orange note that is dated 1998, bear the signatures of Edgar Isidro Caceres Vera and Hermes Anibal Gomez Ginard, and measures 157 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features an OVI patch of a staircase, a round coat of arms with a star, a stylized map of Paraguay, a round emblem with a lion and a cap, and a soldado paraguayo (Paraguayan soldier) with a machete and a rifle. Its reverse side shows the Casa de la Independencia (Independence House) museum building in Asuncion. Security features include a cap registration device, a windowed security thread with demetallized G50000, and a watermark of a soldier head. The note was demonetized in 2012.
