This uncirculated 20 Swiss franc banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Swiss National Bank in 1992. It is a blue banknote that bears the signature of P. Gerber and Meyer, and measures 148 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side shows the geologist Horace Benedict de Saussure. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and depicts a group of Alpinists at the Ammonshorn and a conch shell. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of Saussure. The note was demonetized in 2020.
