Tonga 5 Pa'anga Banknote, 2009 ND, P-39a.2, UNC

The Tonga 5 Paanga banknote was released by the National Reserve Bank of Tonga in 2008. The banknote comes in purple and has dimensions of 150 x 70 mm. Its obverse features King George Tupou V and the countrys emblem. On the back of the note are a medallion and Langi tombs which are burial places of kings. The banknote bears a 1.4mm windowed security thread with a demetalized NRBT. It also carries a watermark that reveals King George Tupou V, an electrotype NRBT, and Cornerstones.
