This particular note is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. The obverse of this banknote bears a portrait of astrophysicist Viktor Amazaspovich Ambartsumian. In the background is a map of the solar system showing planets. On the banknotes reverse is the Byurakan observatory building towering on Mount Arakadz. A telescope is also visible. The security features of this 122 x 65 mm paper note include a solid security thread and a watermark that shows a pattern of the countrys Coat of Arms.
