This uncirculated 50 Bulgarian lev banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bulgarian National Bank. It is a yellow, brown, and blue banknote that is dated 2006, bear the signatures of Ivan Iskrov and Stefan Tzvetkov, and measures 136 mm x 76 mm. Its obverse side shows the portrait of poet Pencho Slaveikov, a view of the National Theatre and National Library buildings, a horse-drawn carriage, and a building façade in OVI. Its reverse side depicts the portrait of Mara Belcheva, and manuscript pages and illustrations from Slaveikov’s works including A Song of Blood, Epic Songs, and Dream of Joy. Security features include a holographic stripe, a solid security thread with a demetalized BNB 50, and a watermark of Pencho Slaveikov. The banknote was designed by Kiril Gogov.
