This uncirculated 100 Hong Kong dollar note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Standard Chartered Bank. It is a red note that is dated 1 January 2018, bear the signatures of Mann Hau Yee and Mary Huen Way-yi, and measures 153 mm x 76.5 mm. Its obverse side features the SCB logo, the Standard Chartered Bank headquarters building, and a yueqin (musical instrument) with 100 in green SPARK Orbital. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and shows a couple of actors in traditional opera costumes. Security features include a denomination registration device, a Galaxy windowed security thread with a Saturn effect and demetalized 100 and yueqin, and a watermark of a Bauhinia flower with an electrotype 100.
