Indonesia 20,000 Rupiah Banknote, 2018, P-158c.2, UNC

The Indonesia 20,000 Rupiah Banknote is part of the family of notes issued by the Bank Indonesia in 2018. It comes in a color combination of green, blue, brown, and purple. The banknote’s obverse features 1st governor of Sulawesi Dr. Gerungan Saul Samuel Jacob Ratulangi, the map of Indonesia, and the coat of arms. The reverse of the paper bill depicts a sea turtle swimming near the Derawa Islands in East Kalimanta, a black orchid flower, the bank logo, and a dancer with feathers (Tari Gong). The banknote bears a windowed security thread with a demetallized BI 20000, a watermark that shows Oto Iskandar di Nata and an electrotype logo, and a registration device that reflects the bank logo. The note measures 147 by 66 mm and is in uncirculated condition.
