This uncirculated 10 Iraqi dinar note was issued by the Central Bank of Iraq in 1981/AH 1401. It is a purple, light blue, and violet note that bears the signature of Hassan al-Najafi. Its obverse side honors the Father of Modern Optics Abu Ali al-Hassan ibn al-Haitham. Its reverse side shows the al-Habda minaret at the Great Nur al-Din mosque in Mosul. Security features include a solid security thread and a horse head watermark. Its dimensions are 170 mm x 78 mm.
