This uncirculated 1,00 Macedonian denar banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia that is dated January 2003 and signed by Dr. Ljube Trpeski. It is a brown banknote that measures 152 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side shows a bird earring, a holographic patch, and a depiction of the Christ child and Madonna Episkepsis from the 14th-century church of Saint Vrachi-Mali in Ohrid. Its reverse side shows the arches from the 11th-century church of Saint Sophia in Ohrid. Security features include a 2-mm windowed security thread with a demetalized Cyrillic text and a watermark of the Virgin Mary.
