This uncirculated 2,000 Mexican peso banknote is part of the 1989 DF series. It is a green, brown, and black note that measures 157 mm x 67 mm, is dated 28 March 1989, and bears the signature of Jaime Pacreu Vizcaya. Its obverse side features the writer Justo Sierra and the mural “Historical Representation of Culture” by Juan O’ Gorman. Its reverse side shows a view of the 19th-century courtyard with the colonnade and equestrian statue of Carlos IV at the University of Mexico.
