This bimetallic 5 Mexican peso coin is part of the Centenary of Revolution series, a series of commemorative coins issued by the Bank of Mexico to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution. It highlights Luis Cabrera Lobato, a writer who effectively campaigned against Porfirio Diazs re-election in 1909. His bust is featured on one side of the coin. The other side of the coin bears the national emblem of Mexicoa Mexican golden eagle perched on a prickly pear cactus eating a snake. The coin weighs 7.07 g and has a diameter of 25.5 mm. It is in mint condition. It also has an aluminum-bronze center and a stainless steel outer ring.
