Mexico 50 Pesos Banknote, 1963, P-49o.8, UNC, Series AVO, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The Mexico 50 Pesos Banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 1963 as part of Series AVO. The banknote has a color combination of blue, green, and purple. Its obverse features Spanish Army captain Ignacio de Allende who sympathized with the movements for Mexican Independence. The reverse depicts the bank seal, the Independence Monument with an angel, and the bank guilloche. The note does not have a security thread and watermark. It is 157 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Fernando Joaquin Loaiza. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
