This uncirculated 100 francs New Hebrides note is a standard circulation banknote issued by Overseas Issuing Institute of New Hebrides. It is a brown, yellow, red, blue, and green note that is dated 1977 ND, bear the signatures of Claude Panouillot and Marcel Theron, and measures 140 x 75 mm. Its obverse side features a wooden totem, aerial view of airport and ships in port of Papeete, Mount Tohivea on Moorea Island, flowers and a native girl wearing a floral wreath in hair, playing guitar. Its reverse side shows native girl among flowers, an aerial view of harbor town buildings and a wooden totem. This particular note has a horizontal black Nouvelles-Hebrides overprint in the front and back. Though there is no security thread, there is still a watermark of RF and female (Marianne) head wearing Phrygian cap.
