The Rwanda 1,000 Cordobas Banknote was issued by the National Bank of Rwanda in 1988. It comes in a combination of green, blue, brown, and pink. The obverse of the note depicts the coat of arms of Rwanda and a man and a boy Intore dancers with spears and shields. The banknote’s reverse features two Eastern gorillas and three men in a canoe on Lake Kivu. The paper bill does not have a security thread. It has a watermark that reveals a crowned crane’s head. It is 157 x 70 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. The banknote has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
