The South Sudan 25 was issued by the Bank of Sudan in 2011 with a pick number P-8a. The 120 x 60 mm paper bill features a picture of Sudanese revolutionary leader Dr. John Garang de Mabior and a Dinka warrior spear on its obverse. The back of the note depicts oryx antelopes and an oil derrick. The banknote comes with a windowed security thread and a watermark that reveals a mans face and the denomination. This particular South Sudan 25 Pound banknote has been TAP authenticated and is in uncirculated condition.
