The Turkey 500,000 Lira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1998 under 1970 law. This purple banknote bears the prefix H. On the obverse of the note are the bank logo and a portrait of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The reverse depicts the bank logo and the Canakkale Martyr’s Memorial) on Hisarlik Hill in Morto Bay. The banknote contains a windowed security thread with a demetallized TCMB and a watermark that reflects Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. It is 160 x 76 mm in size and is signed by Ayden Esen and Gazi Ercel. This particular banknote is in used condition.
