The West African States - Mali 2,000 Francs Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of the West African States in 2019 for Mali. It has a color combination of blue, purple, green, and pink. Its obverse side shows a sawfish figurine, an electric railroad train, a modern jet airliner ascending over an airport control tower, and a passenger bus crossing an automobile bridge. Its reverse side depicts two white grouper fish (Ephinephelus aeneus) swimming among the corals and the penal code. Security features include a denomination registration device, a 1-mm wide solid security thread with printed UMOA 2000, and a watermark of a sawfish with an electrotype 2000. The note is 130 mm x 65 mm in size and is signed by Tiemoko Meyliet Kone and Romuald Wadagni. This banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
