Algeria 2,000 Dinars banknote from 2011 has a pick number P-144a, is in uncirculated (UNC) condition, and features researchers in a lab. Additionally, the note is graded 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).

This 2,000 Algerian dinar note celebrates science, technology, agriculture, urban development, and water resources. It is a greenish-blue and brown note that measures 160 mm x 71.7 mm, is dated 24 March 2011, and bears the signatures of Mohamed Laksaci and Faical Abbas. Its obverse side depicts a university professor lecturing students in an amphitheatre, a satellite, a double-helix DNA strand, and three researchers in a scientific laboratory. Its reverse side shows urban high-rise buildings, an olive tree, wheat, palm trees, and a body of water. Security features include a 13-mm wide LEAD holographic stripe, a windowed security thread with the bank name in demetalized Arabic text, and a watermark of Emir Abdelkader pattern. It is also a superb gem uncirculated note that qualified for Paper Money Guaranty’s Exceptional Paper Quality, experienced minor handling, and has above-average margins and registration. Thus, it is graded 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
