The Burundi 100 Francs Banknote was introduced by the Bank of the Republic of Burundi in 2001. This purple banknote features the Independence Monument and Prince Louis Rwagasore on its obverse. The reverse of the note depicts the coat of arms of Burundi, the construction of a cinderblock building, and a banana plant. The banknote bears a solid security thread but does not have a watermark. It was printed by De La Rue and is 150 x 70 mm in size. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
