The Egypt 1 Pound banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Egypt in 2019. It has hints of brown, yellow, pink, and green. The banknotes obverse depicts the mosque and mausoleum of Sultan Cayebay at the Mamluks cemetery in Cairo. The back of the paper bill features birds and shapes from the construction by Ramesses II in the facade of the Luxor Temple of Amenophis II, Neferataris name in a cartouche, four carvings of the seated Ramesses II from the Great Temple at Abu Simbel, and Ramesses name in a cartouche. The banknote is 140 x 70 mm in size and bears a watermark that reflects the mask of King Tut-Ankh-Amon. It also has a windowed Motion security thread. This Egypt 1 Pound paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
