This uncirculated 500 West African franc note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of the West African States in 2023 for Ivory Coast. It is a pink, orange, brown, and purple note that bear the signatures of Jean-Claude Brou and Sani Yaya, and measures 125 mm x 65 mm. Its obverse side features a sawfish figurine, textbooks, a globe centered on Africa, a chalk slate, and the Bowl of Hygiea. Its reverse side shows two camels (Camelus dromedarius) in Sahel, Burkina Faso. Security features include a denomination registration device, a 1-mm wide solid security thread with printed UMOA 1000, and a watermark of a sawfish with an electrotype 1000.
