The Zaire 50 Zaires banknote is part of the 1982-1985 issues. It is red in color and measures 145 x 69 mm. The obverse side shows the coat of arms, Mobutu Sese Seko in civilian clothes with toque, and a leopard. The reverse side features bank initials, five men on platform fishing with nets, and fish. This banknote uses a solid security thread printed REPUBLIQUE DU ZAIRE and contains a watermark with a Mobutu Sese Seko design. It is graded 66 by the Paper Money Guarantee (PMG).
