This 50 Zambian kwacha specimen note is dated 1992 and signed by Bank of Zambia Governor Dominic Mulaisho. It is a red note that measures 140 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side shows a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint, a tree, the national coat of arms, and a fish eagle. Its reverse side features a copper refining plant, the Freedom Statue in Lusaka, a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint, and a zebra head. Security features include an all-zero serial number, a solid security thread, and a fish eagle watermark. It is also a gem uncirculated note that qualified for Paper Money Guaranty’s Exceptional Paper Quality, experienced minor handling, and has above-average centering. Thus, it is graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG). The note was demonetized in 2015.
