Argentina 1,000 Peso banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 1976 without the authorizing law citation printed on the notes front side. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition. The obverse features oak leaves and a portrait of Jose de San Martin who was known as El Libertador of Argentina. On the reverse of the note is the Casa Rosada or the Pink House building on Plaza de Mayo located in Buenos Aires. It also shows the Coat of Arms of the country, trees, a pyramid, and a flag. This 155 x 75 mm paper bill bears the signatures of Lopez and Diz. Furthermore, Argentina 1,000 Peso banknotes from this series comes with a variety of watermark designs.
