Ghana 50 Cedis Banknote from 2016 with pick number P-42d is in uncirculated (UNC) condition and features Kwame Nkrumah, Ebenezer Ako Adjei, Edward Akufo-Addo, Joseph Boakye Danquah, Emmanuel Odarkwei Obetsebi-Lamptey, and William Ofori Atta.


The Ghana 50 Cedis Banknote was issued by the Bank of Ghana in 2016. The brown banknote bears English text. Its obverse features Kwame Nkrumah, Ebenezer Ako Adjei, Edward Akufo-Addo, Joseph Boakye Danquah, Emmanuel Odarkwei Obetsebi-Lamptey, and William Ofori Atta, a stack of nine gold bars, a star, and the Freedom and Justice arch in Independence Square. It also shows the coat of arms of Ghana and a cocoa pod in green-to-blue SPARK. The reverse depicts the Christiansborg Castle which is the seat of government in Accra and gold bars. The note contains a red-to-green windowed security thread with demetalized GHANA 50. Its watermark reveals Tetteh Quarshie, a cocoa pod, an electrotype 50, and Cornerstones. The note is 153 x 77 mm in size and is signed by Dr. Abdul Nashiru Issahaku. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
